The last point I want to make has to do with the specifics of strength training.  It should take 20-30 minutes for general strength training.  If you become serious in weight training those times can increase drastically.  A lot of people have concerns about becoming bulky, however, unless that is your goal, you will not bulk up with endurance strength training.
